Help Us Help You

Mother Nature is flexing her muscles and is really smacking us around this winter. That’s problem 1. Problem 2: the winter conditions make propane delivery extremely difficult. So, we’re asking for your help.

We all watch the weather. If a storm is on the way, and your tank IS NOT monitored, please give us a call and request a fill-up sooner rather than later. Remember, it may take several extra days to get to you when conditions are bad. If your tank IS monitored, fear not! We’re watching your percentage and we’ll schedule a delivery accordingly.

What Can Cause Delays?

There are many reasons why deliveries may be delayed. None of which should come as a surprise.

  • Poor road conditions make traveling slower. Obviously.
  • Bad storms may prevent us from from conducting business. If we are closed due to severe weather, 100’s of deliveries must be pushed to the next day. This issue compounds daily.
  • Dragging a 50lb. hose to your tank is hard work. Dragging it through deep snow is brutal, so everything happens at a slower pace.
  • Uncleared driveways lead to no deliveries. If our driver reaches your property, but can’t reach your tank, a delivery will not be made. This includes not clearing a path to your tank. These things necessitate making a return trip when the snow is cleared and a delivery can safely be made.
  • Equipment failure. The bitter-cold temperatures can wreak havoc on vehicles and equipment. Any down-time means delays.
  • Supply and demand: cold weather leads to higher propane usage, higher propane usage leads to more deliveries, more deliveries mean longer lead times.
