A: LEAVE THE BUILDING, GO OUTSIDE AND TURN OFF TANK(S), AND CALL KEYSTONE PROPANE (800-598-5047)


Q: MY HEATER OR FIREPLACE WON’T LIGHT, OR STAY LIT.

A: IN MOST CASES IT IS A DIRTY PILOT TUBE. YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR MANUAL FOR DETAILED DIRECTIONS ON LIGHTING YOUR UNIT. IF STILL NOT WORKING, CALL TO SET UP A SERVICE DATE


Q: REMOTE CONTROL WON’T WORK PROPERLY.

A: REPLACE BATTERIES, AND RE-SYNC REMOTE TO TRANSMITTER. FOLLOW OWNERS MANUAL FOR DETAILS.


Q: I WANT TO SIGN UP FOR AUTO-PAY, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

A: CALL 800-598-5047 AND ONE OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS WILL HELP EXPLAIN OUR AUTO-PAY PROGRAM.


Q: NOT SURE HOW MUCH FUEL IS IN MY TANK, WHEN DO I CALL FOR A DELIVERY?

A: ALL KEYSTONE PROPANE CUSTOMERS ARE ON A SCHEDULED DELIVERY, ROUGHLY EVERY 30 DAYS IN THE HEATING SEASON. ALSO, TANKS HAVE A FILL GAUGE WHICH IS CONSIDERED FULL WHEN AT 80% AND THE OUTSIDE TEMP IS 60 DEGREES.




Q: IF I HAVE AN EMERGENCY SITUATION ARISE, WHAT DO I DO?

A: EMERGENCY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK BY CALLING 800-598-5047. A SERVICE TECH WILL CALL YOU BACK IMMEDIATELY.




Q: THE DRIVER FILLED MY TANK(S) AND LEFT A YELLOW COPY. ON THE BOTTOM IT SAYS SMELL TEST PERFORMED, SMELL DETECTED. DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE A LEAK AT MY TANK OR IN MY HOUSE?

A: NO, DRIVER IS REQUIRED TO DO A SMELL TEST ON ALL DELIVERIES TO CONFIRM THE ADDITIVE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE FUEL BEING PUMPED INTO YOUR TANK. THIS IS A SAFETY MEASURE BECAUSE PROPANE IS ODORLESS, AND A LEAK MAY NOT BE
DETECTABLE WITHOUT THE ADDITIVE MIXED INTO THE PROPANE.



Q: I REVIEWED MY BILL, I SEE A CHARGE FOR A MINIMUM BILLING, WHAT IS THIS FOR?

A: THERE IS A MINUM BILL OF $36 ON MONTHLY HEATING ACCOUNTS, AND $84 MINIMUM BILL FOR ONCE A YEAR FILL ACCOUNTS.
